Julia's goal is to make people happier and healthier as the CEO and founder of Lark Technologies. Named Top 10 Most Innovative CE Companies in the World by Fast Company, Lark uses AI to automate top health and behavior change experts from Harvard and Stanford, and even an NBA coach, so that each person can get coached by the world's best anytime. Lark's free Personal Weight Loss & Fitness Coach chat app has been called the "Best App for Apple Health" by MacWorld and will be preinstalled on all new Samsung phones as the "Siri for fitness and sleep". Lark's latest product transforms the Apple Watch into a nutritionist on your wrist.
A serial entrepreneur, Julia's been named 30 Under 30 by Inc and #1 on the Top 10 Woman in Tech to Watch list by Forbes. Prior to Lark, she ran global startup incubator Clean Tech Open, her own green buildings startup, and was an EIR at Stanford's StartX incubator. She received her master's and bachelor's at Stanford and half of an MBA from MIT Sloan (a dropout, but they were kind enough to make lark a case study). Her coolest experiences meeting amazing people have been at EG, and one time when she got to meet the Dalai Lama in a hotel corridor and President Obama when he asked if he could have a Lark and how to promote innovation.
