Jessica Cail

With a PhD from Boston University, Jessica's main research interest is in mind-body medicine — using psychology to alter physical health. In pursuing this, she has done research on ways that spies can use drugs to fool lie detectors, and ways soldiers can use substances to improve performance. As a member of the NAS Science & Entertainment Exchange, she has been lured into consulting on such questions as: What brain changes does Bruce Banner endure when he becomes the Hulk? What formula will turn Calvin Zabo into Mr. Hyde in Marvel's Agents of SHIELD? And as a stuntwoman, her credits include appearing as a surfer in Stephen King's 1408; as an acrobat in Tenacious D: Pick of Destiny; and a special turn as the double-bullwhip-wielding villainess Snakeskin in Supah Ninjas.
