Jeff is responsible for shaping 3D design and engineering software leader Autodesk's long-term technology vision, as well as driving innovation across the company. He and his team focus on research and development and strategy, turning emerging technologies into products and approaches that can help Autodesk’s customers.

A seasoned entrepreneur, Jeff has started several businesses, and joined Autodesk in an acquisition in 1993. He has held a number of roles at Autodesk, and became CTO in 2006. Jeff earned a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and a Master's in computer science, at Cornell University.

When not CTO-ing, Jeff enjoys playing guitar and piano, hiking with his kids and exploring the myriad of cuisines available in his hometown Berkeley, Calif.

Our team has been working hard behind the scenes to bring you a superb program for EG2020. However, in light of growing and legitimate concerns regarding the rapid spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) which have gutted international events of all sizes, we have made the difficult decision to put EG on hiatus until it is once again deemed safe.


We know how much each of you look forward to EG and we were looking forward to seeing old friends, and welcoming many new ones, but we do need to prioritize the health and safety of our attendees, presenters, and partners, especially those traveling from afar.

We will be in touch in due course with future plans.
