Dave Spafford

At 16, Dave built sets for Wally Boag (Golden Horseshoe Revue) at Disneyland. At 18 he began a 14-year career working in Walt Disney Productions Animation Department, and left after Roger Rabbit and Little Mermaid to start Spaff Animation, producing animation for Disney, Warner Bros, Universal Studios and others.

Dave was a storyboard artist for Francis Ford Coppola. He created illusions for magician Rob Zabrecky, and for Guimar?es' and DelGaudio's "Nothing To Hide" at the Geffen and off Broadway. He recently created "Lost River" with Ryan Gosling, including designs, storyboards, sets, and special effects. And, often as not, he can be found cutting out silhouettes at the Magic Castle!!
