Nobody is doing more for the accordion than Cory: he is, after all, the only person to ever win the trio of world championships on acoustic, digital and jazz accordion, and the only accordion graduate from the prestigious New England Conservatory of Music. And he holds the Guinness World Record for marathon accordion playing. But he’s still just getting started.
At 12, Cory performed at the White House — the first of four appearances there. When he was just 15, the greatest accordion legend in America, Dick Contino, said: “Of all the accordionists I’ve seen over the years, Cory is the one to pass the torch to, the only one who has all the tools to bring the accordion back to its former glory.” The following year, at 16, Cory performed with the Brockton Symphony Orchestra: the youngest accordionist ever to solo with a symphony orchestra. You may have seen him on the Late Show with David Letterman, or on broadcasts around the world. A devotee of Formula 1 racing, his music has been played on Formula 1 broadcasts on NBC, FOX and others. Cory also is heavily involved in the world of weather: you’ll want to ask him about that.
