Dr. Christo Zouves has been a pioneer in the field of IVF for more than thirty years, ever since it came to North America. He has had the privilege of helping thousands of families realize their dreams of having a family. At his fertility cetner in the Bay Area, Dr. Zouves takes a unique, personalized and progressive approach to IVF; combining the latest in cutting-edge reproductive technology with a holistic perspective to help patients achieve success.

His background and roots go back to South Africa, where he studied medicine at the University of Cape Town before completing residencies and fellowships in OB/GYN and General Surgery at Royal College in London, England. He obtained Canadian certification in OB-GYN and completed his training in Infertility and Reproductive Endocrinology at the University of British Columbia. He was honored to serve as Medical Director for seven years at the University of British Columbia’s IVF program before moving to San Francisco in 1992 to practice state side.

In addition to his work at ZFC, Dr. Zouves saw the culmination of a dream in 2017 with the creation of the Zouves Foundation for Reproductive Medicine. The foundation aims to not only improve the treatment of infertility, but also to advance technology and understanding to help treat devastating genetic diseases, which are at the root of so much suffering for so many families. The author of Expecting Miracles, he has also written extensively for Fertility and Sterility, American Journal of Reproductive Immunology and Microbiology, Journal of Reproductive Medicine, and others. Powered by plants, Dr. Zouves is a vegan who doesn’t miss bacon or cheese nearly as much as he expected.

Register for EG 2020.

30 April - 2 May 2020

Our team has been working hard behind the scenes to bring you a superb program for EG2020. However, in light of growing and legitimate concerns regarding the rapid spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) which have gutted international events of all sizes, we have made the difficult decision to put EG on hiatus until it is once again deemed safe.

We know how much each of you look forward to EG and we were looking forward to seeing old friends, and welcoming many new ones, but we do need to prioritize the health and safety of our attendees, presenters, and partners, especially those traveling from afar.

We will be in touch in due course with future plans.
