Dr. Christo Zouves has been a pioneer in the field of IVF for more than thirty years, ever since it came to North America. He has had the privilege of helping thousands of families realize their dreams of having a family. At his fertility cetner in the Bay Area, Dr. Zouves takes a unique, personalized and progressive approach to IVF; combining the latest in cutting-edge reproductive technology with a holistic perspective to help patients achieve success.
His background and roots go back to South Africa, where he studied medicine at the University of Cape Town before completing residencies and fellowships in OB/GYN and General Surgery at Royal College in London, England. He obtained Canadian certification in OB-GYN and completed his training in Infertility and Reproductive Endocrinology at the University of British Columbia. In addition to his work at ZFC, Dr. Zouves saw the culmination of a dream in 2017 with the creation of the Zouves Foundation for Reproductive Medicine. The foundation aims to not only improve the treatment of infertility, but also to advance technology and understanding to help treat devastating genetic diseases, which are at the root of so much suffering for so many families.
