Jameson Rich is a filmmaker and a senior at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. In the past four years, he has directed dozens of short form music video and commercial projects for companies such as Atlantic Records, Google Glass, Honeywell, and Mike and Ike. His work has premiered and been featured on platforms like Noisey (VICE), Paper Magazine, Spin, and more. His short film for Google Glass’s Creative Collective premiered last summer at YouTube Space LA.
Jameson is also a survivor of a complex and rare heart condition, which he’s struggled with since birth. As a child and teenager, he spent over 20,000 hours inpatient at Boston Children’s Hospital. He is currently mounting his thesis at Tisch, a short film called “Younger” which is a telling of his experiences growing up in a hospital with a failing heart.
